We can do hard things!
Hi! I'm Jessica Fortunato, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and certified eating disorder specialist (CEDS). For the entirety of my career, I have had the pleasure of working with individuals with eating disorders, codependency, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, trauma, and so much more. The reason I say "I've had the pleasure" is because I truly enjoy working with my clients. Each one has a unique story that they entrust me with as they pursue bettering themselves. I believe that recovery, from anything, is hard, and that we all can do hard things. While I recognize that many of the changes you'll have to make will need to be done on your own, you don't have to walk towards recovery all by yourself. You can surround yourself with compassionate, caring individuals and, if you'll let me, I'd like to be one of them. I utilize compassionate person-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), along with cognitive processing therapy (CPT) and relational cultural theory to assist clients in validating their feelings, challenging their thoughts, and changing their behaviors. If you want to know more about how I can help you, contact me. I look forward to walking alongside you as you utilize your voice to reclaim your story and your future.
